From the moment of their appearance (the beginning of the XIX century) matches were necessarily supplied with labels.
First they contained the information about a manufacturer or a place of production. Over time, a match label became an "enlightener and agitator." For example, during the Great Patriotic War on the labels were images with an appeal to destroy the enemy.
In peacetime, the leading manufacturer of matches in our country, JSC "Borisovdrev" decided to remind us weapons that helped our great grandparents in the fight against fascism.
In 2015, the company issued a unique series of matches dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
On the labels of matchboxes are images of more than 60 types of military weapons, which was used in the fight against the fascists. On the labels you can see the legendary fighter planes, bombers, storm troopers, tanks, guns, mortars, rifles, machine guns, pistols, grenades and other weapons of the Great Patriotic War.
